Collaborative project enables Capita to move to e-learning, saving time and money for award-winning Team of the Year 2014
In 2012, with 1,200 clients and over 4 million pension scheme members under administration, Capita Employee Benefits needed a training solution which would maintain consistently high standards across all 2,500 staff within 15 offices.
To convert large amounts of training content to e-learning, Capita decided to develop an internal team of experts, capable of producing high quality, bespoke e-learning content, from design through to production and testing. Kallidus worked in partnership with Capita, teaching them the skills they needed to create their own future e-learning courses in-house, which could be delivered and tracked via Kallidus LMS.
Although e-learning is nothing new to the pensions and benefits industry, Kallidus has enabled Capita Employee Benefits to stand head and shoulders above the competition, with a dedicated e-learning team capable of producing outstanding e-learning courses in-house.
Capita has saved over 1,000 trainer hours and 870 delegate hours per year by delivering an e-learning programme, all undertaken with less risk, fewer delays and cost savings of £33,600 per annum.
Time to productivity has been reduced, as all online training is accessible from day one, including induction training for contracts and temporary staff.
E-learning has won over Capita’s workforce, and user satisfaction has increased by 6.5%, whilst satisfaction for classroom learning has decreased by 1.8%.
