Kallidus’ Bespoke eLearning team were joined by DHL last night (Wednesday 13th November 2024) as they headed to London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge for the Learning Technologies Awards 2024.
As finalists for Best Technology-Based Learning Game award for their partnership on the creation of “Elemental Escapes” to gamify leadership attributes, the team from Kallidus and DHL had a fantastic time celebrating all the incredible achievements in L&D.
DHL introduced six Leadership Attributes designed to guide employee development and reflect the company’s culture to enhance productivity, employee engagement, and customer experience. After years of embedding the Leadership Attributes into training, processes, and practices, DHL sought out new ways of measuring the impact of the initial roll-out and infusion of the Leadership Attributes. DHL partnered with Kallidus’ Bespoke eLearning team to create a gamified learning experience that would re-engage a survey-fatigued audience. Through multimedia and interactivity, Kallidus and DHL designed a game that reinforced the Leadership Attributes through DHL’s HR initiatives: diversity, sustainability, engagement, and enablement.
As demonstrated by the nomination, “Elemental Escapes” is a testament to DHL and Kallidus’ collaboration and commitment to excellence in learning design, culture, and innovation. The game not only reinforced the Leadership Attributes but also provided valuable data to guide future learning investments.
A huge congratulations to all the winners last night, including Adeptly – KFC Restaurant Simulators, Starbucks x Attensi and IE University who won Gold, Silver, and Bronze in the Best Technology-Based Learning Game category. Some truly remarkable talent.
Thank you to Learning Technologies for a wonderful night!
